  • Anti-doping bill passed by Rajya Sabha
    • Prohibits athletes from doping
    • Bill will give more authority to NADA in investigating and regulating doping practices
      • NADA (National Anti-Doping Agency): Established in 2005
      • WADA (World Anti-Doping Agency): Established in 1999

  • CHEERAG Scheme launched by Haryana Government
    • CHEERAG: Chief Minister Equal Education Relief, Assistance and Grant
    • To provide free education to Economically Weaker Section (EWS) students of Government schools in Private schools;
      Govt. will repay certain amount per student enrolled
    • Eligibility: Annual income of parents should be less than Rs. 1.8 Lakh
    • 24,987 seats were provided by eligible Budget Private Schools; Only 1665 students have opted for the scheme

  • Some Climate pledges done by PM in Glassgow COP-26, 2021 under five-fold ‘Panchamrit’ strategy were recently approved by Cabinet
